Dear Erin, our herd share is a 1 time $35 fee, plus a $12 bottle fee, and then an $8/week boarding fee. Hope you have a wonderful day and if you have any more questions feel free to e-mail at fallcreekfarms@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Ben

For Dana: Don’t you have mostly Alpines? We had them 25 years ago, and after the usual goat population explosion, we figured that we wanted milk more than we wanted more goats, so we cut back to 2 milkers and only bred one each year. We milked each goat for nearly 2 years, and when you consider the qt per day that kids take, we got as much milk without having to deal with a lot of teenage goats. We didn’t realize then that Alpines are noted for persistant milking. I am wondering if you have a mature doe that’s not bred yet, one you are thinking of replacing. Would you have one you are willing to sell? Everyone with goats is always having to make these decisions each fall…. what to keep, what to get rid of, and what kinds of homes the rejects will go to.

Interested in produce share 2013
